Things that go together: Lemonade Stands and Philanthropy

Help us, help Capital City Equality Center, help Rory in her mission to help our homeless neighbors.

SATURDAY, JUNE 2 | 1-3p | 1204 ORLEANS

From the Facebook Event Page:

There is a young girl in our community who has been working hard selling lemonade and baked goods in order to earn money so she can purchase goods to assemble into care kits for our homeless citizens.

We here at Capital City Equality Center want to show Rory that we think she is wonderfully beautiful for her advocacy by hosting her Lemon-Aid stand here at the center on Sunday, June 3rd from 1-3 pm. We suggest that those who are interested in assisting Rory in her valuable work to stop by and visit with her, have a cool refreshing glass of lemonade in the shade and bring along some of the items that she would like to have in her care kits. A list of those items can be found in the image in the comment/discussion tab on this event page. Thank you Topeka and Northeast Kansas for your generous support of Rory’s mission.

We also appreciate your sharing of this event on your newsfeed so that all of your wonderful friends and family will know of Rory’s desire to help others.
