Solidarity – Words of Support

#FrityLayTopekaStrike

seveneightfive stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters–our seveneightfive community, who are requesting cost of living wage increases and security from 7-day / 12-hour work weeks. We believe everyone has a right to safe working conditions and opportunities for healthy work/life balances. We also believe in individual rights to speak up and the power of collective unity to make positive change.

To show our support, we set up a Local 218 Utility Fund with hope of receiving 545 donations of $47 or more each to pay every Local 218 member’s water bill for one month.

Unions are important because they help set the standards for education, skill levels, wages, working conditions, and quality of life for workers.
