SCOTCH TASTING AT CROOKED POST
Have you ever wanted to try a 21 year old whisky from Scotland? Well now is your chance! Crooked Post Winery is hosting a Scotch tasting event on Saturday, July 28. They have invested a large amount of cash to secure six rare and old single malts from Scotland, where owner Kevin’s family came from, to be tasted. The cost is $50 per taster and your spouse/partner is free (if they don’t wish to have their own flight of samples. Be safe, folks.)
Here’s the line up:
Balvenie – 21 year old finished in Portwood casks
Glenlivet – 18 year old
GlenGrant – 18 year old Rare Edition – double distilled in tall slender pot stills
Glenfiddich – 21 year old – Reserva Rum Cask finish
Royal Brackla – 16 year old from Cawdor Estate
Clenmorangie – 18 year old – Extremely Rare
This event is strictly limited to 30 paid tasters. About five spots remain.
