Thank you, everyone who contributed. The 785 Utility Relief Fund, support for BCTGM Local 218 is now closed. Thanks to your contributions, each eligible union member will receive $70 towards their water bill and $50 cash. The remaining funds will be donated directly to Local 218 to use as their board determines.

785 Water Relief Fund: support for BCTGM Local 218

Water bill relief for BCTGM Local 218 Union Members
Current Membership (July 2, 2021) is 545. Average City of Topeka water bill is $44.62.
GOAL: $24,317.90
Fund closes July 23, 2021 at 8pm (CST) for distribution of all donations. If fund reaches $25,000 prior to July 23, 2021 monies will be directed for immediate distribution. Opportunity for additional giving and a new deadline may or may not take place after.
seveneightfive will work with Local 218 Union President and Business Manager to ensure proper and equal distribution of funds to all current BCTGM Local 218 members.
DISTRIBUTION OF RELIEF DONATIONS
Donations - ACH fees = Total Contributions Total Contributions ÷ Current Membership = Per Person Gift
Current Membership will be determined on July 23, 2021 at 8pm and include all Local 218 members who are eligible for Strike Relief.
On or by July 27, 2021, contributions will be awarded to each member as a payment to their City of Topeka water utility bill. If no bill exists, gift will be given directly to the Union Member for use at their discretion.
