Next on the menu at Topeka Civic Theatre. A recipe for laughter, "To Many Cooks"

Next on the menu for Topeka Civic Theatre is the culinary farce “Too Many Cooks.”
Fill your belly with classic comedic laughter (and carrot cake) January 19 – February 10.

Written by Douglas E. Hughes and Marcia Kash, directed by Shannon J. Reilly; you will be transported to 1932 Niagara Falls, when bootlegging was at its peak.

Irving and his daughter, Honey, are prepping for the grand opening of their new restaurant, when their featured famous chef fails to appear. In a mad rush they find (or are persuaded) by an unemployed drifter to don the chef’s hat. Confusion and hilarity ensues, as should in well-written farces. This meal does not disappoint.

Dishing up the hilarious farce is a TCT veteran cast of local comedic geniuses including Shawn Nyberg, John Livingston, Melissa and Jeff Boyer, Bruce Smith, Daniel Gilchrist, Cortni Hurst and Dusty Nichols.

If you’re among the hundreds who look forward to an outstanding farce every January from Topeka Civic Theatre, “Too Many Cooks” will serve you perfectly.
