For most Kansans, there’s something so striking beautiful about golden hay bales resting in a vibrant, sunlit summer field. Capturing the warmth and beauty of a sun-drenched countryside dotted with iconic hay bales has never been easier or more relaxing.
• In order to guarantee space is available, students must register in advance before the start of class
• No previous art making skills are required, just a love for art and an eagerness to learn and create!
• Students will learn how to utilize acrylic paints strategically to mix bright sunlit fields and stark shadows to create the illusion of a softly glowing sky.
• Students will gain a better understanding of the importance of strategically layering acrylic paints
• Students will gain a better understanding of the importance of working “back to front” when developing a landscape composition.
• Students will develop an increased confidence in their art making abilities
