The new Children’s Zoo will provide a one-of-a-kind destination where children and families can connect with animals through immersive, hands-on experiences that inspire compassion, encourage learning, and deepen appreciation for the essential role agriculture plays in Kansas.
The adjacent Play Zone will provide a farm-inspired space where children can climb, explore, imagine, and enjoy outdoor play.
This groundbreaking marks another exciting step in bringing our Zoo Master Plan to life, and we invite our community to celebrate with us as we begin building a place where imagination, exploration, and conservation come together.
